Flatbreads, Fillo Products Among Kontos Stars in Dubai

Kontos Foods, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of traditional Greek and Mediterranean foods since 1987, will showcase an extensive range of Halal- and Kosher-certified frozen flatbreads, as well as its fillo dough and sweet Middle Eastern-style fillo pastries at the Gulfood trade show in Dubai from February 21-25.

kontos pockless pita White Pita Composite contentVisitors to the Paterson, New Jersey, USA-headquartered company’s booth (No. S3-C53 in Hall Shk Saeed 3) will be able to check out over 50 varieties of flatbreads, including the new Rustics Collection of light and fluffy, oblong-shaped Naan bread; Tandoori-style Naan bread in original and garlic flavors; Massala Nan, featuring a blend of fresh chopped hot chili and onions with oriental spices; Kontos Pocket-Less Pita; Greek Lifestyle Flatbread; Gyro breads; grilled Panini breads and other ethnic flatbreads.

The company will also be spotlighting fillo dough of varying thicknesses, as well as Kataifi dough – finely spun strands of dough that add golden crunch to seafood and dessert dishes. Attendees will be able to sample several products, including Kontos Foods’ ready-made Baklava and Nut Roll pastries.
