Camberley, Surrey, England-based Creative Foods has introduced plant-based Southern Fried Goujons under its Harvest Farms range. The vegan-friendly, chicken-free product is made from fully cooked, pre-fried, textured vegetable protein, coated in a light and crisp southern fried style breadcrumb.
The producer, an OSI company, promotes the offering as “great for a variety of meal occasions from starters and sides to sharing platters and main courses that are not only ideal for dipping, but also work well as plated meals and meals on the move!
The 50-gram Plant-based Southern Fried Goujons are distributed frozen in 1kg bags which contain 20 pieces.
Established in 1991, Creative Foods has been known by several names over the years including Atlantic Foods, Flagship Foods and Flagship Europe, before being acquired by the OSI Group in 2017. In addition to Harvest Farms, its portfolio of acquisitions includes Oliver James (the sous vide experts), Proper Pies, Oasis Foods and Calder Foods.
