The Friendly’s Restaurant chain in the United States has introduced a new Lobster Festival menu that boasts lobster rolls, lobster and shrimp quesadillas, and fiery lobster pasta, among other offerings. Available through the end of August, the summer seafood-centric dishes are on offer along with a wide range of of beef, chicken, turkey, burger and sandwich entrees in addition to the Hauppauge, New York-headquartered operator’s extensive lineup of ice cream treats.

“Friendly’s is a staple for many communities on the East Coast, with decades of experience serving crave-worthy food and delicious ice cream,” said CEO Craig Erlich. “Our Lobster Festival menu accomplishes what we have always done best: bringing people together around a great meal and making summer memories that last a lifetime.”

The summer menu includes:

Lobster Bisque. Served in a warm cup or crock.

Lobster Roll Deluxe. Featuring crisp applewood smoked bacon and fresh tomato added to the classic roll and paired with golden fries.

Lobster Roll Classic. It’s a creamy lobster salad with celery and crisp lettuce on a classic grilled roll with a side of golden fries. Coleslaw may be added for an extra charge.

Fiery Lobster Pasta. This dish is loaded with tender pasta tossed in a spicy red-pepper Alfredo tomato sauce and heaped with hand-cut lobster meat. It’s served with ciabatta toast for dipping.

Zesty Lemon Garlic Lobster Pasta. Lemon zest meets hearty pasta and tender lobster meat all tossed with creamy lemon garlic sauce and flanked with toasted ciabatta bread.

Lobster and Shrimp Quesadilla. This hand-held offering serves up mixed cheese, lobster and shrimp between flour tortillas grilled to perfection on the outside and melty on the inside. It’s shored-up with salsa, sour cream and forkfuls of fluffy rice.
