Goodfella’s is launching a New York-Style Pizza range, replacing its existing Takeaway line. The new range offers indulgent toppings and quality ingredients, backed by consumer testing, helping retailers attract the growing number of shoppers who regularly enjoy “fakeaways” at home.

The four flavors in the New York-Style Pizza assortment are Ultimate Four Cheese, Fully Loaded Pepperoni, Hot & Spicy Meat Feast and Sweet & Smoky BBQ Chicken. Each features a thin stone baked base with a large crispy crust, loaded with indulgent and on-trend toppings such as Hot Honey Drizzle, diced Pepperoni, roquito peppers, chili and black pepper crumb and flavored oils.

The range has a bold packaging design that highlights the “tastiest recipe ever,” along with its New York inspiration. Eye-catching on-pack graphics showcase the new base and loaded toppings to instantly appeal to shoppers looking for a quality takeaway-style treat in the frozen food aisles of supermarkets and other retail grocery stores.

Joining the pizza lineup is newly renovated Goodfella’s Garlic Bread, now made with the same base as the New York-Style pizzas. Featuring an indulgent taste and texture, the product delivers indulgence from crust to crumb.

Claire Hoyle, head of marketing at Goodfella’s, commented: “We have a proud reputation for delivering quality and innovation that shoppers love – and our New York-Style Pizza range does exactly that. The new pizzas have been a hit in consumer testing, with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Our team has worked hard to deliver just the right amount of cheesiness, flavor, and crust thickness that consumers love.”

The new pizza range will roll out to Tesco stores on September 8 at a MRSP of £4.75 per pack, before wider distribution follows among other retailers later in the month through November. Goodfella’s Garlic bread will be available at a MRSP of £2.50 from October 13 in Co-op, and become more widely available by the end of November.
