High Liner Foods, Inc. has introduced the Ultimate Salmon Burger to the foodservice industry under its FPI brand portfolio. The flash-frozen product offers moist, juicy and flavorful fish delicately seasoned for a tasty and satisfying eating experience.
Made from a premium blend of Atlantic and Wild Pacific Salmon with no fillers or additives, the salmon burgers are crafted to present a made-from-scratch appearance. Available in 2-, 4- and 6-ounce sizes, they’re portioned for slider, sandwich and entrée applications. Fully prepared, they are ready to flat grill, pan fry, bake or char grill.
“The American burger segment is as popular as ever due to the better-burger trend driving growth,” said Carolyn Piscatelli, FPI’s Danvers, Massachusetts, USA-based brand manager. “With customer demand for healthier menu options on the rise and salmon’s position as the ultimate healthy protein choice, the time is ideal for a signature quality salmon burger that will differentiate operator’s menus.”
The Ultimate Salmon Burger is lean, nutritious and easy to prepare by grilling, pan-frying or baking. It is an excellent source of protein, Omega 3s, and contains zero trans fats.
