Jollibee, known for Chickenjoy fried chicken and other comfort foods, has entered the Pembroke Pines, Florida market. The opening on September 29 marked the debut of the QSR’s first location in the South Florida region and its third in the Sunshine State.

Jollibee offers a host of Filipino-inspired “classics” which capture the brand’s heritage and cultural culinary appeal. The restaurant’s signature menu item is Chickenjoy fried chicken, breaded to create a crispy exterior, pressure fried for maximum juiciness, marinated to the bone to provide next level flavor, and complemented with gravy.

Other items on the menu include: the Original Jollibee Chickenwich, featuring slow-marinated, crispy, double hand-breaded chicken breast fillet, spread with umami mayonnaise and served on a toasted brioche bun; Spicy Jollibee Chickenwich (pictured below), accented with a sriracha mayonnaise and is served with jalapeños for added crunch and heat; Jolly Spaghetti, featuring a signature sweet sauce loaded with chunky slices of savory ham and hot dog, and topped with a generous sprinkle of cheese; Peach Mango Pie, made with peaches and Philippine mangoes and featuring a light and crispy crust.

The new Pembroke Pines store joins Jollibee’s outlets at two established Florida locations in Jacksonville and Tampa, and marks its 53rd store in the USA. Operating more than 1,400 restaurants around the world, Jollibee ranks as one of the fastest growing Asian restaurant companies in the world. It or affiliates are conducting business around the world, with branches in the Philippines, Canada, China, the United Kingdom, Italy, Vietnam, Brunei, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Egypt, Panama, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and India, in addition to the United States.

Jollibee Foods Corporation was named the Philippines’ most admired company by the Asian Wall Street Journal for ten years. It was also honored as one of Asia’s Fab 50 Companies and among the World’s Best Employers by Forbes. In 2020, Gallup awarded Jollibee Foods Corporation with the Exceptional Workplace Award, making it the first Philippines-based company to receive the distinction.
