Mini Stuffed Bantam Classic Bagels Recalled from Retail Stores in USA

Clifton, New Jersey-based Damascus Bakery OPCO is voluntarily recalling one production lot (#12031) of Bantam Classic Bagels distributed to retail stores in the United States due to “an incorrect item being placed in the carton with an undeclared egg allergen.” People who have an egg allergy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the items in this product lot.

The frozen plain bagels stuffed with whipped cream cheese have best by dates of May 27, 2023 printed on the left side of 7.8 oz. (222g) “New York City Original” six-pack cartons and the top of the bag.

To date, no illnesses related to this recall have been reported. No other Damascus Bakery or Bantam Bagels products are subject to the recall.
