Beer Battered Gouda Rings are new to the Crunchy Homies range distributed in Europe, Asia the USA and elsewhere by the Rietberg, Germany-headquartered Frostkrone Food Group. The frozen finger food, snack and appetizer specialist describes the doughnut-shaped product as “heavenly on burgers or eaten neat with your fingers,” adding that it is “ideal to enjoy at home and perfect for the foodservice sector as a starter or a salad garnish.”
Enveloped in a light beer batter, the Gouda Rings can be quickly prepared in the oven, in a hot air fryer or deep fryer, as is the case with other Froskrone products which include Crunchy Mozzarella Sticks and Crunchy Chilli Cheese Nuggets.
In addition to Frostkrone, members of the international group include Bornholter, Piz’wich, Rite Stuff Foods, Varenne Gastronomie, Innovatel and the Abergavenny Fine Food Co. Products are made at a network of state-of-the-art plants in Germany, France, Britain and the USA.
