The Los Angeles, California-based Real Good Foods Company has launched seven new frozen, high protein, low carbohydrate, grain free and gluten free entrées at approximately 1,500 Kroger supermarkets across the USA.

“We are delighted with this expansion of approximately 10,000 points of distribution in Kroger stores and Kroger-owned banners,” said Executive Chairman Bryan Freeman. “The response to our microwavable frozen entrées has been remarkable. Consumers more than ever care about how food makes them feel and understand that entrées loaded with beans and rice and sugar and carbs are not good for you and make it harder to lead a healthy lifestyle.”

After listing three Real Good Foods frozen entrées in 2020, Kroger decided to increase the brand’s presence and create a wider assortment of meals. From Mexican to Italian to traditional American entrées, the newest grain-free additions at Kroger include: Chicken Enchiladas, Cheese Enchiladas, Steak Burrito Bowl, Chicken Burrito Bowl, Marinara Ricotta Cannelloni, Spinach Ricotta Cannelloni and Chicken Alfredo Cannelloni. Net carb counts are two to nine per serving, while protein content ranges from 15 to 25 grams.

Real Good Foods products are also available at other retail locations nationwide, including Walmart and Costco.
