In recognition of Remembrance Day and to express gratitude to US and Canadian military veterans and active-duty troops for their service, the Red Lobster restaurant chain will offer a complimentary Veterans Shrimp & Chips meal on November 11 (the day in 1918 that World War I ended in Europe) to customers showing proof of service.

Guests who have served or are currently on active duty will enjoy a plate of Walt’s Favorite Shrimp (six hand-breaded, butterflied shrimp, lightly fried) served with cocktail sauce alongside Chesapeake fries and coleslaw free of charge. The special offer is available only to dine-in customers.

The Orlando, Florida-headquartered Red Lobster Seafood Co. honors military members year-round by providing an everyday 10% discount on dine-in meals.
