Scott & Jon’s Unveils New Packaging and Larger Seafood Bowl Portions

Scott & Jon’s, an Auburn, Maine, USA-based producer of frozen seafood entrees, has announced a significant increase in the portion size of its range of shrimp bowls. Starting in early 2024, customers will get 20% more food in every bowl, receiving a substantial boost in value without compromising on taste, nutrition or price point.

“Our consumers told us loud and clear that they want healthy seafood options, bigger portions and better value,” said Jon Demers, who co-founded of the company with brother Scott. “We’re addressing these needs, providing our customers with the satisfaction they want without increasing their cost.”

Scott & Jon’s has long offered convenient and tasty low-calorie bowls that are packed with protein. Product development of recipes featuring wholesome ingredients is ongoing. Among new offerings recently introduced are Mediterranean Shrimp Orzo, Shrimp Marinara Penne, Shrimp Primavera Orzo, Honey Garlic Shrimp Rice Bowl, and a grain-free Shrimp & Vegetable Stir-Fry dish accentuated with broccoli florets, edamame, carrots, peppers and sweet chili sauce.

In addition to the larger portion sizes, Scott & Jon’s has unveiled new packaging that reflects the brand’s commitment to quality seafood and innovation. Designed to project more vibrant, eye-catching imagery on retail store shelves, the 8 oz (227g) packs showcase appetizing ingredients and flavors.

Inspired by family recipes, the company’s growing range of premium seafood meals is available in major grocery stores across the USA. In addition to the new products mentioned above, Scott & Jon’s Shrimp Rice Bowls feature flavors that include Creamy Parmesan, Coconut, Jambalaya, Sweet Chipotle and Cilantro Lime. Pasta Bowls are boast Shrimp Alfredo and Shrimp Scampi, while Shrimp Noodle Bowls are available in Ramen and Spicy Ramen.
