Along with the menu introduction of Hot & Crispy Fries, Wendy’s quick service restaurants are offering customers in the United States a “Hot & Crispy Fry Guarantee.” Announcing that this is the way of “doubling down on fries, our most important side offering,” Chief Marketing Officer Carl Loredo added: “We know customers deserve better than the cold, soggy fries they’ve been receiving at competitors. That’s why we’re committed to delivering hot and crispy fries with every single order If your fries aren’t hot and crispy when you receive them, we’ll replace them, no questions asked.”

The Dublin, Ohio-headquartered company reinvented its fries by testing 20 different cuts of the potato, dialing up crew training and updating restaurant operations and equipment to deliver on the Hot & Crispy Fry Guarantee that assures “perfect balance between the hot, fluffy potato and subtle crispiness.”

“We are always looking for new ways to innovate our menu where we see the competition lacking,” said John Li, vice president of culinary innovation. “As a fry fanatic, it’s not okay for fries to be just okay – so I set out with our culinary team on the pursuit of the perfect fry that would disrupt the category. We are so proud of where we landed with Wendy’s new Hot & Crispy Fries, delivering a hot, crispy, salty crunch with every bite.”

Founded in 1969 as a fast food restaurant specializing in made-to-order square hamburgers, today the chain operates more than 6,800 restaurants worldwide. In addition to burgers and fries, menu offerings include chicken sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, salads, frozen desserts and beverages.
