Young’s Seafood Launches Three Fish Fillet Strip Flavors in UK Retail Stores

Three kinds of Fish Fillet Strips featuring basa sourced from Vietnam are new to the Young’s Seafood range of value added frozen marine products sold at retail stores in the United Kingdom. Distributed in recyclable polyethylene bags weighing in at 450 grams, the flavor varieties are Salt and Vinegar, Southern Fried and Crispy Battered.

“They will appeal to the whole family and are a perfect option for delicious, healthy meals – and the convenient format is ideal for anyone working at home and looking to upgrade their lunch break. We really wanted some new and exciting flavors for families who are wanting to enjoy healthy and tasty fish, and we’ve done exactly that with our Fish Fillet Strips,” said Liz Griffin of the Grimsby, England-headquartered company’s marketing department.  

Young’s Seafood has posted solid retail segment sales gains in the past year as consumers have been locked down in the UK due to the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic. Its total brand sales have risen approximately 19% to £195.9 million, according to Nielsen figures.
