Burger King restaurants in the USA added the Impossible Whopper sandwich to its 2 for $6 Mix & Max value menu promotion. Starting on January 16, customers may now choose between the Impossible Whopper, Spicy Crispy Chicken, Crispy Chicken and regular Whopper sandwich for a limited time period.

“This unbeatable deal gives friends and family a new reason to come in and try the Impossible Whopper and other BK favorites at an amazing value,” said Chris Finazzo, president of Miami, Florida-headquartered Burger King North America.

The fast food chain rolled out the Impossible Whopper sandwich with a patty made from plants nationwide last year following a successful test in St. Louis and six other markets across the United Stated. The offering made Burger King restaurants the first coast-to-coast QSR operation to serve the product.

The Impossible Whopper features a flame-grilled patty made from plants topped with sliced tomatoes and onions, crisp lettuce, creamy mayonnaise, ketchup and zesty pickles on a toasted sesame seed bun.
