GlacierPoint Enterprises, a Bronx, New York-headquartered portfolio company of Mill Point Capital and one of North America’s leading full-service direct store delivery (DSD) distributors of ice cream and other frozen products, has acquired Arctica Frozen Solutions, a DSD distributor of ice cream, novelties and frozen products covering Central and South Florida. The transaction marks GlacierPoint’s first strategic acquisition in Florida and establishes the platform’s presence in one of the most compelling frozen distribution markets in the United States.
Based in Miami, Arctica serves more than 4,600 delivery points across major convenience, drug and grocery store customers with products from premier manufacturers including The Magnum Ice Cream Company, Froneri and Mars. GlacierPoint’s eighth acquisition since inception in 2021, Arctica extends its network into a market whose near-year-round warm climate drives significant demand for single-serve and novelty formats — a category GlacierPoint covers extensively across its entire operating footprint, which now spans more than 273,000 square miles.
