Kevin Cummings has been hired general manager of Henningsen Cold Storage Company’s newest public refrigerated warehouse (PRW) in Salem, Oregon, USA. He will direct day-to-day operations of the facility, which features more than eight million total cubic feet and over 32,000 pallet positions.
Cummings joined Hillsboro, Oregon-headquartered Henningsen after serving 12 years in various positions with Schreiber Foods, where he was, most recently, the Carthage, Missouri distribution center team leader. He holds a bachelor of science in business management degree from University of Phoenix and served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps.
The Salem facility will serve as a frozen distribution center to support NORPAC Foods. It is scheduled open in the spring of 2014.
