M&M’s Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches and Greenies Dental Treats for Dogs, both part of the Mars family of brands, will be distributed in Summer Treat Packs for canines free of charge for a limited time promotion on and before National Dog Day in the United States on August 26.
“What better way to celebrate 25 years of M&M’s Ice Cream and National Dog Day than treating both pet parents, and their canine companions to free summer treats,” said Shaf Lalani, general manager of Mars Ice Cream. “The Summer Treat Pack combines two fan-favorites from our portfolio to help inspire moments of happiness.”
Leading up to National Dog Day, folks in New York City are invited to visit the Mars Summer Treat Pack truck on Saturday, August 24. Starting at 11:30 AM it will be on the scene at Tompkins Square Park, then at Union Square Park beginning at around 3:30 PM to dispense gratis treats-for-two, in-person, while supplies last.
On Monday, August 26, in partnership with Fooji, consumers nationwide can visit MarsSummerTreatPack.com starting at 10 AM Eastern Time to claim their free “Mars Summer Treat Pack” for “paw-some” National Dog Day treats, while supplies last.
