Hialeah, Florida-based Ready Dough Pizza Inc. is recalling approximately 10,584 pounds of frozen pepperoni pizza produced without the benefit of federal inspection, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on July 15. Additionally, the 14-ounce Pizza Cubana products contain milk, wheat and soybeans, which are known allergens. Some of the packs have no ingredient label and others had the wrong ingredient label, according to the FSIS.

The Cuban-style pepperoni pizzas were produced between January 12 and July 13, 2022. The products subject to recall do not bear the USDA mark of inspection.

No reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these pizzas have been reported to date. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.

Concerned that some packs subject to recall may in home freezers, FSIS is urging consumers not to eat the pizza. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase for a refund.
