Portland, Maine, USA-based Bristol Seafood has introduced a line of grab and go seafood items under its My Fish Dish brand featuring simple-to-cook scallops, cod, salmon and shrimp distributed as slack-and-sell, grab-and-go items with third-party validated shelf life of up to 10 days after thawing. Three selections of wild-caught coldwater shrimp accented with lemon and pesto butter, sweet chili, and garlic and herb are among the latest additions to the range.

Meanwhile, the company’s My Fish Dish Blackened & Smoked Butter Wild Scallops, sourced from North American waters, is a finalist in Seafood Excellence Award competition. The winner will be announced at the Seafood Expo North America in Boston on March 15.

“My Fish Dish starts with quality seafood, pairs it with perfect toppings, and makes it a snap to prepare,” said Iréne Moon, vice president of marketing. “Consumers found it in seven-ounce packages in over 800 stores at the end of 2019, and we look forward to making it available to more shoppers in 2020.”

Bristol Seafood, founded in 1992, offers a variety of products that also include mussels, haddock and frozen-at-sea fillets. It is committed to sustainable business practices and is the first enterprise to earn a Fair Trade certification for seafood harvested in US waters. Additionally, it is certified to the Marine Stewardship Council’s chain of custody standard and operates an SQF-certified processing plant.
