The Edy’s and Dreyer’s ice cream brands in the USA, part of the Frioneri portfolio since being acquired from Nestlé in 2020, have unveiled the Rocky Road Collection, which features six premium flavors loaded with mix-ins. The rollout to retail stores this month is in tribute to the O.G. Rocky Road, which was created by founders William Dreyer and Joseph Edy as one of the first ice cream flavors in America with mix-ins. The range is inspired by the spirit of iconic flavors and nostalgic childhood recipes, amped up for today’s consumers with a new twist of extreme indulgence.

“Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream was founded in 1928 with the mission to spread smiles and provide delicious ice cream that the whole family could enjoy together, and that mission remains the same, if not more relevant today,” said Julianne Feder, the Oakland, California-headquartered company’s senior associate brand manager. “The new Rocky Road collection is designed to send ice cream lovers on a treasure hunt of indulgent mix-ins, full of flavor, decadence and texture.”

With mix-ins like chunks of cookie dough, handfuls of chocolate covered toffee and creamy spoonfuls of peanut butter, the assortment offers a variety of flavors and textures for all tastes. The six flavors being introduced as part of the Rocky Road Collection include:
